Northern Fleet
January 22
Grisha class corvette Yunga completed several combat exercises in the Barents Sea. The vessel used her AK-176mm naval gun for gunnery exercises against naval and shore targets, engaged in air defense exercises as well as protecting the vessel against sabotage link.
Baltic Fleet
January 20
Bykov class patrol vessel Viktor Veliky held flight deck operations as part of a training exercise. Ka-27 helicopters landed on the ship while it was adrift as well as underway. Landings took place both during the day and night for a total of 15 landings link.
Su-30SM2 multirole fighters and Su-24M bombers of the naval aviation regiment assigned to the Baltic Fleet struck ground targets in the Kaliningrad Region as part of a training exercise link.

Around 10 vessels departed the naval base at Baltiysk for a simulated emergency deployment for combat. The vessels were tasked with sailing out and organize themselves against a simulated air attack. Helicopters and fighter aircraft of the Baltic Fleet Naval Aviation Regiment played the part of hostile aircraft attacking the fleet link.

The Leningrad Naval Base will improve the training of watch officers with increased attention to safe navigation in narrow channels, passing ships, and anchoring link.
Pacific Fleet

Nanucka class corvette Smerch was deployed in Avacha Bay and engaged in combat exercises as part of her K-2 level training course. Exercises involved naval gunnery, electronic warfare, damage control, mine counter warfare, and safe navigation link.
Out of Area Deployments

Udaloy class frigate Marshal Shaposhnikov is reported in the Qatari port of Hamad. The port visit will last until January 21link.

Stereguschy class corvette Boiky and tanker General Skobolev are being escorted by the Dutch Navy while en route from the English Channel to the Baltic Sea link.
