Russian forces in the Mediterranean - Wk40/2022

Task Force Composition

As reported by OSINT at the morning of Oct-08

Weekly Brief

Limited naval activity was reported during the week, confirming the general trend that the Russian task force is standing down after seeing half of its combat strength leaving the region during the month of September.
Two small tankers departed Tartus at the beginning of the week, being escorted by the frigate Admiral Grigorovich. These tankers are known to transport fuel between Russia and Syria and might currently be used to provide the task force with enough fuel for future operations.
