November 24

Steregushchy class corvette RFS Boikiy conducted a replenishment at sea from the sea tanker RFS Kola. The replenishment took place in the English Channel and involved the transfer of fuel and water. During the replenishment, anti-terrorism units, presumably made up of naval infantry servicemembers, practiced several counter-terrorism for when the vessels would be anchored in an unprotected area. The Baltic Fleet at Kaliningrad have received their first Project 02510 BK-16 high speed amphibious landing boat. The BK-16 is a Russian variant of the CB-90 assault boats and was build at the Rybinsk Shipyard. The vessel will be used to transport up to 18 special forces operators at a speed of 40 knots over a distance of 400 nautical miles. The boat is equipped with remote controlled weapons and has armor protection against 7.62mm armor piercing bullets. [2]

November 25

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that a visit by an Indian military delegation took place at the Baltic Fleet headquarters in Kaliningrad. The Indian military delegation led by the naval attaché at the Indian Embassy Commodore Manish Chadh, reportedly met with the Commander of the Baltic Fleet, Admiral Alexander Nosatov. Both military leaders talked about the joint operations and trainings that took place under the Indra-2019 exercise in December 2019 as well discussing the idea of holding joint exercises in the Baltic Sea.
Talks were also held about the construction of two frigates, INS Tushil and INS Tamala, at the Yantar shipyard. These two vessels will later undergo sea trails in the Baltic Sea. [3] [4]

November 26

Steregushchy class corvette RFS Boikiy has reportedly passed the English Channel and moved into the Atlantic Ocean. Once in the Atlantic Ocean, the corvette started an anti-submarine warfare exercise with the aim to detect, track and destroy a simulated hostile submarine. In order to speed up the search, the ship deployed its Ka-27 helicopter.
The Russian Ministry of Defense also announced that the corvette will also conduct an electronic launch of her Uran anti-ship missile in a later exercise. The corvette is also scheduled to hold an air-defense exercise while it is in the Atlantic Ocean. [5]

November 27

Steregushchy class corvette RFS Boikiy was detected on commercial satellite image together with Northern Fleet Udaloy class destroyer RFS Kulakov. Both vessels were jointly training west of the Hebrides Islands. [7]


November 28

Project 23130 replenishment oiler RFS Akademik Pashin was reported in a position 25 nautical miles south of Bornholm Island at 0800Z. The vessel was on a course heading west, suggesting that she could be going towards the North Sea. [6]
