November 02

Amphibious landing ship RFS Petr Morgunov has left the Yantar shipyard and set course for the Baltic Sea to complete her state trails before delivery to the Russian Navy. The state trails will involve the checking of the artillery systems and her capabilities of operating helicopters. [8]

Training facilities in Kaliningrad are being updated in preparation for the new academic year which is to start at December 01. A total of 300 facilities for live firing training will be repaired and several combat vehicles well be made available for the new recruits to practice on. Training minefields, wire and mine-explosive barriers and other engineering structures also being installed on the training area. Preparation of the training grounds is said to continue until the end of the month November. [1]

Daily disinfection of military buildings is continuing in the Kaliningrad Region. Specialist units focus on the  internal premises of military units, headquarters, places of residence of military personnel and mess halls. A surface of over 30 thousand square meters is being disinfected on a weekly basis. [2]

November 03

Several ship crews are being trained in damage control and firefighting at a special training complex named "Caspian". The training complex simulates ship compartments that can be flooded or set on fire. This training complex offers realistic training simulations to enhance the practical skills of the crews. [3] [4]

November 05

Engineering units reportedly defused nine 82mm artillery shells in the Kaliningrad Region. These shells date back from the Second World War and were found on two separate locations. Eight shells were found near the Baltic Highway at the Svetlovsky district. The last shell was found near the village of Vladimirovka at the Guryevsky district. Once defused, the shells were brought to a military training ground for subsequent destruction. [5]

Servicemen of a separate company of radiation, chemical and biological protection (RHBZ) disinfected offices and workshops of the 33rd shipyard in Baltiysk with a special aqueous solution containing 2/3rds calcium hypochlorite. The servicemen disinfected several offices, basements, technical and attic rooms, workshops as well as special equipment. [6]

November 07

Iskander missile systems deployed in Kaliningrad are being serviced in order to be functional during the winter months. Drivers and mechanics will perform around 40 different tasks on both the launchers as the missiles. 
A special commission has been created, tasked with performing quality checks in order to control the work done to the missiles and launchers. These checks will start next week. [7]
