Northern Fleet
Servicemen of the air assault and reconnaissance formations have started parachute training courses with training being done on ground simulators. The training also involves the design and stowage of parachutes. The training will involve the use of three parachute systems, the D-6, D-10 and Arbalet-2 [1].
Caspian Flotilla
Marines continued their live firing trainings at the Adanak training ground in Dagestan. AK-74s and RPG-7s were used during this exercise [2].
Pacific Fleet
Tanks crews underwent additional training courses on how to operate the recently arrived T-80BV tanks. Officers first took special courses at the Kazan Higher Tank Command Red Banner School. The training of the rest of the crew members was organized in their compounds [3].

Pacific Fleet
Cadets at the Faculty of the Marine Corps of the Far Eastern Higher Combined Arms Command School (DVOKU) had their so-called run in with tanks. At the Belogorevsky training ground, the cadets learned how to engage tanks [4]. Having a tank driving over the foxhole manned by a cadet is usually part of this training.
Black Sea Fleet
Marines of the 810th NI Brigade trained together with coastal defense forces of the Southern MD at an unspecified location. The exercise involved T-72B3 tank companies and marines mounted in BTR-82As conduction a mobile defense. Weapons were fired against targets simulating opposing forces. These targets include lightly armored vehicles, low-flying air targets, as well as artillery and anti-tank crews [5].
Engineers of the 810th NI Brigade used specialized mine clearing vehicles during a special exercise at the Angarsky training ground in Crimea [6].

Pacific Fleet
Around 100 marines were involved in embarkation and debarkation exercises at an unspecified training ground in the Primorsky Territory. Ropucha class landing vessel Oslyabya was used during this exercise [7].
Northern Fleet
Small arms tactical firing training was reported with marines of the reconnaissance units firing Yarygin and Makarov pistols, AK-12 assault rifles, PKM machineguns and portable anti-tank grenade launchers. The firing distances varied between 10 to 400 meters [8].

Black Sea Fleet
Two companies of marines were involved in embarkation and debarkation exercises at the Cossack Bay at Sevastopol. Driver m-mechanics worked out the procedures required to embark and secure their vehicles on board of landing vessels. The vessels used in the exercise are reported as the Ropucha class vessel Novocherkassk and the Tapir class landing vessel Orsk [9].

Black Sea Fleet
Marines of the 810th Naval Infantry Brigade cooperated with the Southern Military District in a coastal defense exercise. The exercise was a joint operation and took place at the Opuk training ground with marines taking up firing positions at the beach and conducting mining operations. Tanks and artillery of the Southern MD meanwhile engaged targets at sea [10].
The Marine Infantry Battalion stationed in the Krasnodar Region held a training for its driver-mechanics on how to drive and control the BTR-82A armored personnel carrier. The drivers operated their vehicles to enter and exit the water and how to operate their vehicles once they are afloat [11].

Northern Fleet
Live artillery firing took place near the village of Sputnik in the Murmansk Region. The exercise saw the involvement of 30 artillery pieces which included BM-21 Grad MLRS and Gvozdivka 122mm self-propelled guns. The artillery fire was observed and corrected through the use unmanned aerial vehicles [12].
February 10
Black Sea Fleet
A tactical exercise is reported on the Raevsky training ground in Krasnodar with the marines being deployed in a mechanized column. During the exercise, the marines had to take defensive actions against simulated lightly armored vehicles, low flying aircraft and hostile infantry. Weapons involved in the exercise are reported as Kalashnikov assault rifles, RPG-7 anti-tank grenades, machine guns and the vehicle mounted weapons of the BTR-82A. Targets were engaged at distances between 200 meters and 5 kilometers [13].
Pacific Fleet
Members of the 155th NI Brigade are involved in an urban warfare exercise during the Allied Resolve 2022 exercise in Belarus. The exercise took place at the Obuz-Lesnovsky training ground and involved the marines detecting, blocking and neutralizing a group of insurgents in an urban environment. The marines also practiced on how to place improvised explosive devices [14].
February 11
Baltic Fleet
Sniper units of the 336th NI Brigade were deployed for night time training on the Khmelevka training ground at Kaliningrad. Training took place at the level of sniper pairs and sniper groups and involved radio controlled targets on a specially designed range.
The training involved reconnaissance, navigation on the battlefield during the night, camouflage and creating egress routes. The targets for this course are located between 300 and 800 meters [15]. These distances suggest that shooting was done with a SVD marksman rifle rather than a true sniper rifle but no official verification was provided to back this claim.

Servicemen of the air assault and reconnaissance units have started airborne training under the winter training program. The first part of the training involves the use of ground simulators where the marines can gain training on how to act between leaving an airplane and landing on the ground [16].

Pacific Fleet
Mortar units of the 40th NI Brigade reportedly cleared 250 hectares of avalanche prone areas in accordance with the avalanche center for Kamchatka. The marines fired 20 shots with 120mm mortars to induce avalanches in a controlled manner. This task recurs every year during the winter [17] [18].

Pacific Fleet
Mortar crews of the 155th NI Brigade provided fire support for motor riflemen during the Allied Resolve 2022 military exercise in Belarus. The exercise took place at the Obuz-Lesnovsky training ground in Belarus with mortar crews engaged targets as far out as three kilometers in support of defending troops. The marines used 82mm mortars during this exercise [19].
